Graduation is usually in May or June. We’ve all had to make adjustments the past couple of weeks. Longer if you are outside of the USA. Covid-19 has affected all of our lives.
I have a younger sibling that is a high school senior She, like a lot of seniors, are not getting the traditional senior year that we’ve had the opportunity to experience. She was going to graduate May 18th and the following week we would celebrate as a family for a mini-vacation. That is not happening in May. The backup date her school district has put out is June 29th and then she is off to college at the end of August. This time takes patience and understanding that life is just different.
Law School Graduation
I know a lot of law school students that were set to graduate in May. I don’t know how a lot of law schools are handling graduation but I do know some state bars are moving the July bar exam to a later date. This is a time of celebration with family and friends. A time to take notice of accomplishments that took years. But this year those celebrations may come later than planned or not happen at all.
Here at Legally Melanated, we wanted to do something, even it is a small thing. We want to celebrate you, the law school graduate who has worked tirelessly to get to where you are. We do not want your hard work to go unnoticed to the community at large. We want to feature you.
